# End Grain Cutting Boards

Three boards, made once for the holidays, each one of a kind. Select white oak, set end grain up and precision cut by hand in our Brighton workshop. At 1¼ to 1½ inches thick, they are far heavier and more durable than an everyday board, and built to stand the test of time.

1¼ to 1½ inches thick

Far thicker than a regular cutting board, with the weight to stay put on the counter and the depth to be resurfaced for decades.

End grain up

The oak fibres stand on end, so a knife slips between them rather than cutting across. It is kinder to your edges and the surface wears slowly.

One of a kind

Each board is laid up from select white oak and finished by hand for this holiday season only. There is no second run; when a board sells, it is gone.

## Care

Hand wash with warm water and a mild soap, then dry it standing on edge. Never soak it or put it in the dishwasher.

Oil it about once a month, or whenever it looks dry, with a food-safe mineral oil or board butter.

The grain and colour are natural to the oak, and the board will deepen in tone with use.
