# SABLE — Walnut, exclusively

> Everything in SABLE is built from walnut: the collection is defined by the material.

Walnut is the only wood in the collection, and where a piece allows it the whole top comes out of one flitch, so the grain runs unbroken from one end of the table to the other. A hand-rubbed oil is all that goes over it.

- Material: Solid walnut
- Finish: Hand-rubbed oil
- Lead time: 10–12 weeks (made to order)
- Shipping: Free shipping within the US. Remote destinations (boat, train or plane) are quoted separately.

## One flitch, one piece

Our walnut is kept stacked in sequence, the boards still in the order they were milled. When a table is ordered we lay the flitch out on the shop floor and read it before a single cut is made, so the figure carries across the joint instead of stopping at it.
