For over 10 years, ROHN Studio, formerly TRH Furniture, has been a small, family run, Michigan-based furniture studio creating distinctive, handcrafted pieces from exceptional natural materials.

Every piece is individually designed and built in our workshop, allowing the character of the wood to influence the final form. Natural movement, expressive grain, and thoughtful details come together through modern design and meticulous craftsmanship.

The result is furniture that feels intentional, timeless, and uniquely yours.

HOW WE WORK

The board comes first. The drawing follows it.

THE MATERIAL
Responsibly sourced and salvaged hardwood, dried slowly and stacked in sequence until it is ready.

THE DESIGN
Each piece is drawn around the board it will be built from, so movement and grain shape the form instead of fighting it.

THE BUILD
Traditional joinery, hand-worked surfaces, and a finish that can be refreshed rather than replaced.
